The facts of finance, what we have found out...
- 50% of schools have an existing finance arrangement in place
- 35% of those with leasing experience would consider leasing again in the future
- 57% of respondents reported they would consider using leasing
- 87% of respondents said they would buy whiteboards outright - with 10% not sure
- 91% of respondents would say they would buy projectors outright - with 8% not sure
- Respondents seem to be open to financing more expensive items
- 17% of respondents said they would buy "lecturn-based systems" outright, with 17% identifying leasing and 67% not sure
- Every source indicates that the educational community has been slow to adopt lease financing for their ICT needs. There is no definitive reason for this although the comments listed in Customer/non-customer highlights the issues that need to be dealt with.
